Here's a compilation of the feedback from play testing we've obtained throughout the development of our game.

Improvements to make

Kang Le

·         Needs more powerful action cards

·         Some cards are too wordy & unclear

·         Feels like too many cards that take away points

·         Shorten & clarify wording of card effects

·         Reduce number of cards that lower points

·         Introduce symbols/icons that represent certain effects

Norman

·         Point limits could be -10 & 10 instead of -8 & 8

·         Cards with choices aren’t clear about who makes the choice

·         Event card that averages everyone’s points feels pointless, all it does is drag the game

·         We never have any phobia cards

·         Design proper sleep meters

·         -8 to 8 should be fine as is, keeping to the theme of 8 hours of sleep

·         Clarify on choice cards who makes the choice

·         Revamp the averaging points event card

·         Reduce the number of cards that discard phobia cards

·         Revise the cards Hero Fantasy & Mind Wipe

Yi Long

·        Character immunities are forgettable, so the character card feels pointless.

Character illustrations could help, but consider ways to involve the character card in the gameplay more.

Wenjie, Jason & Maieesh

·        More lose point actions

clear difference between action & defense

·        Increase starting action cards

·        Players without Phobias at end of a round get 1sp

·        Starting phobias are random

·        Immunity based events reworded to mention character name

·        Make some cards much simpler like just lose 2 points

·        Trauma Bond change

·        Replace immunities entirely with unique character abilities (i.e. a revive)

·        Foresee the top 4 action cards before drawing 2 at the start of your turn,

Yu Le

·        Mention objective of the game's theme (wake up & escape a nightmare)

·        One supernatural has the wrong category

·        Too wordy so takes time to read and think

·        Main problem is not exciting

·        Instruction should be very clear as our game is a bit complicated, as all cards have different affect
