This week was a whirlwind of activity as we reached the final stages of our game development. After weeks of brainstorming, playtesting, and iterating on our ideas, we finally finalized the design of our game cards. Here's a brief recap of our accomplishments and preparations for the upcoming final pitch.
Finalizing Card Design
Our primary focus was perfecting the design of our game cards. We paid attention to every detail, ensuring that each card was visually appealing and functionally clear. The design process involved:
Refining Artwork: We selected and polished the artwork to ensure each card was engaging and thematic.
Clear Instructions: We made sure that each card's instructions were concise and easy to understand, addressing feedback from previous playtests about the complexity of the game.
After finalizing the designs, we sent them to a professional card maker store to print high-quality versions of our cards. Seeing our ideas come to life in printed form was incredibly rewarding and gave us a tangible sense of accomplishment.
Preparing the Presentation Slide for the Final Pitch
With the final pitch scheduled for Tuesday, we dedicated time to creating a compelling presentation slide. The goal was to clearly convey our game's concept, mechanics, and unique selling points.
