The primary objective of this week is to redesign our cards, as they were plain white and black in the testing phase. We decided to enhance their visual appeal by incorporating a variety of colors and images in both our action and phobia cards. By introducing vibrant colors and engaging visuals, we aim to create a more captivating and immersive experience for our users.
In addition to revamping our cards, we also made the strategic decision to transition our blog platform from Google Slides to wix.com. This shift was motivated by the limitations we encountered with Google Slides and the desire for more flexibility and creativity in our blog design. Wix.com offers a plethora of templates and customization options that empower us to showcase our content in a more dynamic and visually appealing manner.
Redesigning
During Week 11 of our project, we delved into the intricate process of redesigning and iterating our components, specifically our action, phobia, and event cards. The primary objective was to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of these cards to provide a more engaging experience for the players.
To achieve this, we carefully selected and incorporated relevant images that resonated with the theme of each card. Additionally, we experimented with various background colors to create a cohesive and visually striking design that would captivate the players' attention.
By paying close attention to the details of each card and implementing these redesigns, we aimed to elevate the overall quality of our game and ensure that every element contributed to a seamless and immersive gameplay experience.
