This week's goal was to finalize our tabletop game idea from last week and develop the alpha game framework.

Idea Propose
Preparation Work
Card Prototype Design: Rough sketches for card designs.
Theme: Dreamscape
Setup: 4 to 6 players
Props: Character Cards, Phobia Cards, Action Cards, Event Cards, Sleep Meter, Tokens
Understanding the Game:
Players choose a character with a specific phobia and immunity.
Everyone starts with 5 hidden Action cards.
Each round, players can play up to 2 Action cards, then draw 2 cards.
Phobia cards are visible to all players.
Players have a Sleep meter from -8 to +8, starting at 0.
Win/Lose Conditions:
Win: Reach +8 on the Sleep meter.
Lose: Reach -8 and get eliminated.
Action & Event Cards:
Include effects like gaining/removing Phobia cards, adjusting Sleep points, and drawing/swapping cards.
Feedbacks
Maintain:
Fun to change phobia cards each run.
The game shows the 'unknown,' which is interesting.
Improve:
Action and event cards are too similar; consider choosing one.
Connect event cards with locations affecting players based on their phobias.
Balance the number of phobia cards.
Simplify action card descriptions.
Introduce a 'gold card' with a superpower for player advantage.
Ensure smooth game flow.
DEMO (After Improvement)
First Round
Keep action cards for the game, no more event cards
Each user draws 2 cards, plays only 1 action card each round, and holds other cards until the next round
Once there is a winner, mean the game is over
To Improve:
Add the represent symbols or icons for each function
has a winner in the second round which is too fast to end the game
Still find the game will be fun with Event cards, need to create new content for event cards

Second Round
Every player draws 1 Action card and 2 Phobia cards which are based on their character
If a player has the same phobia cards, then discard one phobia card and gain 1 sleep point
We have a winner in round 3
To Improve:
Need more action cards relate to damage and attack function
